I was born in 1948 in South London, I was adopted and grew up in Croydon. During my adolescent years alcohol and drugs destroyed everything, including a budding music career. My parents both died whilst I was in my twenties. In October 1976, I went into ‘Pinel House’ the first rehab outside America. Since then I have been in recovery (drink and drug free) for 42 years.
